  • A window over the title menu: Couldn’t load Settings, A new version is out: reload the page, with Retry, Reload page and Close.

Friends onlyOnly friends can ask to come to you with a Farglass, or be asked.
  • A card over the darkened title: WebGL isn't available. Gleamheart needs WebGL (GPU acceleration). Turn on hardware acceleration in your browser's settings, or open the game in another browser.

Version 1.9.1

  • The title menu: the crest over the name GLEAMHEART in gold, Build. Explore. Face the elements., and Kinholds and The Gleamlands below.
GleamheartThe game has a new name. Your worlds, looks and name are as you left them.

Every gate speaks

When a world can’t take you, the title menu says why in one card, and what to do next. The Gleamlands are full (their line too): places open as players leave. This world is full, for a Kinhold or a listed world: seats open as players leave. Our server is busy: worlds wake as others sleep. The server is updating: a page newer than the game server is asked to try again in a minute, never sent round a Reload into the same page. These cards carry one tap into a world of your own. A page older than the server gets Update ready, with Reload.

A new version is out

A tab left open across an update can find that a screen (Looks, the Journal, Settings) no longer loads: its files were replaced. When the page already knows a new version is out, the first window says so, A new version is out: reload the page, with Reload page. Your worlds and everything in them are kept.

A friend’s invite link to the Gleamlands lasts two days. Past that you still join, and the chat says That invite link has run out. Ask for a new one., instead of leaving you at the world spawn with no word.

More: inviting friends.

Keep your worlds

Safari on an iPhone may clear a site’s storage, worlds with it, when the game isn’t on the Home Screen, and a guest has no copy on an account. So from the third visit on, an iPhone guest with a Kinhold sees one card on the title menu: Sign in to keep your worlds safe on this iPhone. Its ✕ closes it for good, and signing in ends it too. It never shows beside the Home Screen card or over a window.

Friends only

A Farglass lists only your friends in the world (signed in, and neither of you blocking the other), and only they can ask to teleport to you. An Accept always gets an answer, even when the one who asked has gone.

WebGL isn’t available

In a browser with no WebGL (hardware acceleration switched off, or a graphics card the browser won’t use), the game says WebGL isn’t available and what to do: turn on hardware acceleration in your browser’s settings, or open the game in another browser.

Payments that hold

While a wallet pays, the checkout stays open and still, and the phone’s Back never leaves it mid-payment. A world waits for a payment in flight before it reloads.

Smoother busy servers

Creatures far from every player and home step every other tick, far Hearth Pots and crops are looked at less often, and private worlds save in turns instead of all at once. The line into the Gleamlands no longer stalls on seats held for players reconnecting. Single player saves as the tab closes, too.

Earlier versions: all updates.
