Chat commands

Press / or T (on a phone, the wheel button, then Chat), type a command and press Enter. /help lists the ones you can use where you are. In single player the testing and building commands are yours too.

Who can use what

  • Everyone can use the talk, travel, Wrights, team and round commands. Online, where chat is set phrases, the whisper commands are off and the rest stay.
  • Single player and operators can use the testing and building commands. An operator is a person the server lists; nobody becomes one by asking in chat.
  • A world’s keeper is its owner: a private world’s owner on our server, or the host of a world opened to friends. They keep the guest list, the edge, the rules and the Lens. In their own private world they can also set the time and weather and travel, as an operator can.
  • Moderators keep the Gleamlands. The Gleamlands keep one set of rules for everyone; no command changes them.

Names the commands take

  • Weather: clear, rain, thunder, hail, sandstorm.
  • Finding things: /locate takes cradle, foundry, cinderwrack, siphonworks, coilvault, fireswell, roadring, gate, sea, hold, watchtower, fort. It searches up to 6000 blocks and answers with the spot, how far and which way. Some lie only in some lands.
  • Items, effects and creatures are typed as one word: farglass, nightsight, glintmaw. Press Tab after the command to see them.
  • Tab completes a command, its first word and a player’s name; the up and down arrows bring back what you typed before.

The controls: How to play. Worlds you keep: Playing together.
