# Delete account

Deleting your account takes effect at once: your characters online, friends, the looks you own and earned, your play time and your world copies are gone from the game.

The game opens at the last step. Sign in if it asks, then type your player name. A sign-in older than 5 minutes is asked for again.

## What is deleted

- Your account, and your characters on our game server, in the Gleamlands and in private worlds.
- Your friends list, friend code and notifications.
- The looks you own and earned, and your play time.
- Your world copies. A private world you own is closed; one where others play stays for them, without an owner.

We email the address you signed in with when it is done.

## What stays

- Single-player worlds: they live in your browser. Delete them in Kinholds.
- Purchase records, as long as tax law requires.
- Moderation records and reports, for the times the [privacy page](https://gleamheart.com/privacy/) gives.

## A parent deleting a child’s account

Sign in with the child’s account and delete it the same way, or write to [support@latticelogic.app](mailto:support@latticelogic.app) from the address the child signs in with.

## No account?

A guest’s character lives with its browser. To delete an online character that has no account, write to [support@latticelogic.app](mailto:support@latticelogic.app) with its player name and the world it plays in (the Gleamlands or a private world).
